We have five double ensuite bedrooms (two with four poster beds).  Whether the purpose of your stay is business or pleasure, The Maltsters Country Inn, will provide a relaxing retreat and a wonderful nights sleep.
Dating from the 18th Century, The Maltsters Country Inn at Badby near Daventry, is a traditional Northamptonshire Inn offering  good traditional food and ales, together with very comfortable accommodation and excellent service.
Whether you want to pop in for a quick drink (or two!), enjoy a leisurely lunch or dinner, or stay a while in one of our lovely ensuite bedrooms, you are always assured of a very warm welcome.
The Maltsters is in the centre of the pretty village of Badby which lies 50 metres off the A361.  Surrounded by ironstone and thatched cottages and with the ancient Badby Woods on it's doorstep, The Maltsters Country Inn offers an ideal base to explore the many attractions the area has to offer.

Once inside, it only gets better, with our  friendly bar, which has a very traditional 'olde worlde' feel with exposed beams, dried hops and two open log fires, in which you can savour great traditional pub food and delectable homemade desserts alongside an extensive lists of wines and beers which you would expect from any self-respecting pub!

Walk through to the back of The Maltsters and you will find a wonderful walled garden and an enclosed courtyard perfect for enjoying those barmy hot summer evenings.

With all these charms, you would be forgiven for wanting The Maltsters all to yourself.  Here again we do not dissapoint, you can requisition your very own section of The Maltsters!  Our versatile Malt Room has been designed for those with something a bit more private in mind, and lends itself perfectly to all manner of functions.

The Bar, is everything you would expect of a traditional English pub.  It features not one but two welcoming log fires; exposed beams decorated with hop garlands and some cosy nooks and window seats
Flickering candles add to the warm and inviting atmosphere, the perfect place to meet friends or enjoy an intimate dinner in an informal and friendly setting
